Blue and Gray Tales of Mystery is a collection of short stories by Brendan Dubois. The seven very different short stories share the leitmotiv of the bloodiest conflict on North American soil - the Civil War. Buy Blue and Gray Tales of Mystery from Amazon today.

Resurrection Day was the first novel by Brendan Dubois I read, well over a decade ago. It still is one of the best alternative history novels I have ever read, on par with Robert Harris Fatherland. Set in the early ’70s Resurrection Day tells about the consequences of the Cuban Missile Crisis having a different conclusion. Buy Resurrection Day from Amazon today.

FINAL WINTER is a chilling and scarily realistic story about a terrorist plot, one that potentially would make 9/11 feel like a walk in the park. Brendan Dubois has once again written a terrific and engrossing story, one that you’d hope would never become a reality. Buy FINAL WINTER from Amazon today.

Brendan Dubois is probably one of the most prolific short story writers around, with over a hundred stories published in anthologies and magazines. Death Of A Gemini is a collection of ten military mysteries. The title story tells of an F-14 pilot flying missions over Afghanistan shortly after 9/11, haunted by the memory - and possible ghost - of his dead brother, killed during the World Trade Center attacks.

This great anthology also includes an author forward and afterward, the publication history of each story, and Brendan’s insight on how each story was written and published. Buy Death Of A Gemini from Amazon today.

SIX DAYS is a fast paced, well written, and clever thriller by Brendan Dubois. Considering the kick-ass quality of the work and the story, it is amazing SIX DAYS was never published stateside but in the UK only. Ten years ago. Now - finally - it is readily available as ebook. If you want to get a taste of Dubois’ excellent writing and story telling, buy SIX DAYS from Amazon today.

I became a big fan of Brendan Dubois after reading Resurrection Day about a decade ago. His alternative history fiction is fantastic, the Lewis Cole mysteries always a huge pleasure to read. On The Plains Of Deception is Brendan’s first indie published step on Planet Ebook. Unlike the protagonists on their red planet of this short story, I’m convinced he’ll love it here, and we’ll see much more of him in the near future. Buy the beautiful, heartfelt, but ominous On The Plains Of Deception from amazon today.
