Will start my trip that will eventually bring me to St Louis and Bouchercon2011 this weekend. But first two weeks in The Netherlands, visiting family, friends, and a few clients. It is NOT a holiday, as some people think. I’ll be working until I leave for my trip to the US. First stop Durango, Colorado - digging shallow graves in Blake Crouch’s back yard. Sharing a room with Blake and Marcus in St Louis. If it becomes Hangover 3 I will probably be most similar to Zach Galifianakis. Will be back in Wellington 24 September.
The above is a poster I designed for Bouchercon2011. The central element of the poster also features on a t-shirt design.

Occasionally I design websites. This one is for Olaf, one of my closest and oldest friends. His Casa Rochetti is available for those who appreciate all the great things Italy has to offer, in the lush and tranquil setting of the Piemonte. The restored 16th century farmhouse is a showcase of understated luxury, affinity for design and appreciation of high quality living. Check out the website and dream away… www.casarochetti.com

National Geographic and Knopf author David Raterman worked two years for CARE in Tajikistan. The River Panj is David’s debut novel, revealing his experience and knowledge about one of the most dangerous areas on the globe. On top of that The River Panj introduces people who have little regard for those that think differently or stand in the way of their goal, something Derek Braun, the protagonist, quickly has come to grip with.
