Last year I designed the cover for Robert Swartwood’s The Serial Killer’s Wife. It had a pulpy feel, with some branding elements linking it to The Dishonored Dead (an excellent and decidedly different zombie novel), a cover I had done shortly before. But perception and focus change, and after the design of the cover for his thriller Man Of Wax it seemed logical to update the design of The Serial Killer’s Wife. Above is the new design, below the first cover. Buy The Serial Killer’s Wife as ebook from Amazon today, or opt for the paperback (for a very limited time still available with pulpy cover I believe - collectible!).

Or buy The Dishonored Dead from Amazon, if you’re in the mood for a fantastic and unique zombie novel.

MAN OF WAX is the first book in the MAN OF WAX trilogy, by the prolific Robert Swartwood. The book trailer, elsewhere on this page, gives a pretty accurate feel for the novel. Fast, dark, raw, gritty and sometimes quite brutal it will get you hooked from the first page. Buy the ebook MAN OF WAX from Amazon today, or opt for the paperback, also available from Amazon.

The above book trailer for Robert Swartwood’s latest thriller Man Of Wax, is directed by Adam Perry (twitter: @misterperry).

Robert Swartwood’s Phantom Energy is a collection of very short stories. As in VERY. But whoever said size matters should read these, and will be proven wrong. These stories are short but hit the mark. Buy Phantom Energy from amazon today. Soon also available as paperback.

Robert Swartwood’s The Serial Killer’s Wife explores an aspect of serial killers rarely addressed - their family. In this great thriller the past catches up with Elizabeth who disappeared after her husband was convicted for the brutal killing of a number of women. To save her son she is forced back into the life she fled, discovering everything she once knew is a lie.

As Blake Crouch puts it: “This is a scary, thrilling, page-turning, race-against-the-clock novel if ever there was one, with a true shocker of an ending. Miss this one at your own peril.”

Ever since seeing The Omega Man as an 11 year old I’ve been in love with post-apocalyptic themed movies and books. The Dishonored Dead by Hint Fiction’s Robert Swartwood fits that category, but it is so, so much more than that. It completely turns the concept of zombies and the living upside down, to name just one amazing aspect of the novel. Buy The Dishonored Dead from amazon today.
